Hi Lila (love that name!), thank you for sharing this with me. Actually, this family asked me to do their dog's portrait before it was "too late" to have one. She was a wonderful subject. They have a 16 X 20 of this image, matted and framed, in their family room. If I do say so myself, it's stunning! It makes me proud, because it made them so happy, too.
