About Barbara S Nickerson
I've lived in New England all my life and the change of seasons is my inspiration for photography. Whether it's a colorful Fall, a white Winter or the pastels of Spring and Summer, these events happen at the same time every year but, through the eye of a camera, never in the same way. I was always quick to run and get the camera to capture moments in time that were important to me... and there were lots of them. Today, with digital technology and the effects it's had on photography, this pass-time has become a passion. It's the composition that grabs me on this one: The triangle comprised of blue eyes and pink tongue, with an orange nose in the middle, which then flares out to a big V that includes the ears. The dark vignette further draws my eyes right to the face. Perfect treatment of this capture.
